Sheppard Mission Log
The mystery seems to thicken; I’m not fully sure what Admiral Teki has to do with what we have been investigating. Most the crew is off experiencing a bit of rest and relaxation. However, I’ve managed to call in some of the Alpha team and senior officers. I’m sure they would much rather be off enjoying themselves. Yet, whatever is a foot isn’t something I can leave alone.
The survivor of the shuttle apparently worked for the Admiral however much of what was recorded and loaded into the database on the shuttle was fabricated lies. The officer however seem to spin a different tale. That of a man concerned about the outcome of the Sheppard and its mission. It was from this officer we learned of a Vulcan by the name of Ashven, that he was here on Pinastri investigating something on the outskirts.
Of course it isn’t all good news it rarely is. It seems the Vulcan has not returned any calls; we may very well be starting out on a rescue hunt. I dearly hope that nothing horrible has happened to the man. Checking database I’ve learned that Ashven is one of the oldest Vulcan’s here in the Gamma Quadrant. His research is mostly on obscure pieces of history mostly of what links Romulans and Vulcan couture.
We still have the use of the USS Wolverine which after its use with the Orion pirates seems to still have its bits of surprises. We will embark to the reaches of Pinastri with our reduced crew in hopes that we can locate this Ashven and gain some clues where we might find this rod and serpent. In old history of earth it had something to do with healing I’m not sure in the culture of the Vulcan or Romulan it means the same thing.
