The USS Aviator after making an attempt to get back to our own time space ended up moving from the year 1786 to 1970. We were able to witness firsthand the Apollo 13 mission and observe when they returned back to Earth Safely. Engineering reported that it would take at least a weeks time to make repairs to the ship after that short time jump, however all is not lost. This makes for a great opportunity for some historical study of what Earth was like in 1970.

Research conducted states that an area on the East coast called New York would be suitable for our research purposes. An away team will be sent to the surface wearing 1970 period clothing. The away team is to observe and research the area of the city they are in. Each department will be sent to research a particular part or section of the city. The away team is fully aware of the TPD and has been instructed on emergency procedures.

Captain's Mission Log Cmdr. Markus Tyrellium, Commanding Officer USS Aviator NCC 75101-A Local Date : April 26, 1970 (Stardate:111126)

Current Location: Sol Sector. On the dark side of the moon.

A research team was sent to the Earth to perform a research study of the Earth during this time period. The crew dressed in 1970 period clothing headed to a secluded abandoned building in the city of New York, located on the East coast of the United States.

The away team’s research has been deemed classified until all aspects of the research can be determined. It would appear that two of the away team members were arrested and placed in the brig for their consumption of a cake product that contained what was then called marijuana, which is a natural growing plant on earth at this time that was highly used as a recreational drug. This substance was also used for medicinal purposes, but was not widely accepted in most areas of the United States during this time period.

The research team’s reports will released once all events and or incidents have been reviewed and the determining if the TPD had been violated at anytime during this mission.
