-Captain's Log-

After transit back to 'where we started' we have started scouring the planets where encountering our 'Void Caller' opponents are likely to reappear.

One of the locations is a Star System designated 'Occult' under the files obtained from the Oroborous. There is an unfamiliar symbol on the lists which is defying translation.

We are enroute to that star system, in order to seek out this 'foe'... with luck we can open a dialogue. If not, we have friends waiting to assist us.

The USS Shogun approached the Occult Star System, and proceeded to scan the area, finding one likely planet in the region: Occult I.

Scans revealed it to be full of life, however mostly aquatic.

An away team lead by Commodore Kermie Mistwallow beamed down to the surface, which seemed to be made mostly of water, with crystalline buildings. There was significant energy readings, detected by Lieutenant Commander Akara Dover, some of which were almost identical to the Vortexes caused by "Void Callers" Travel.

Commodore Mistwallow located something that was of interest, but seemed to disappear in a flash, taking him to places unknown. The Remaining away team members, under Doctor Demina Dyrssen did not follow suit, but attempted to continue on in search for the missing Commodore.

During this time it became apparent that they were being watched: A Voidcaller (presumably the very one they have been having trouble with) was nearby, but was soon taken away by an opened vortex upon being noticed. Communication was attempted by the Away Team, however this was not successful. Shortly afterward, the Commodore returned, with no apparent memory of where he went, or how.

Continuing to explore, the creature was spotted a number of times, before disappearing, evading readings, however leading the teamto a central building. The Creature later issued a warning, insisting the team leave, only to vanish once more.

The Creature later returned once the Away Team was again contacted by the creature, who referred to them as Sabateurs, heretics, and must die, before engaging them in a hostile manner. Commodore Mistwallow received a fireball to the chest, before Doctor Dyrssen ordered an emergency Transport.
