-Captain's Log-

Sensors have detected a freighter five lightyears from our present position: again, another ship that is drifting, likely another derelict. Given the recent causes in recent months for ships to simply drift through space, an investigation is probably warranted.

The USS Shogun Discovered an alien vessel floating in deep space, unpowered and empty. An away team under the command of Lieutenant Grahamkitt Resident beamed aboard, to ascertain its nature and the reason behind its current state.

Gravimetric pulses were found emanating from a particular part of the ship, which was found to be a portal, similar in appearance to the Guardian of Forever; the portal itself seemed to be a trap, sucking in Lieutenant Kitt, alongside Lieutenant Grindroid Resident and Doctor Piper730 Resident, into a strange, rocky dome, with four exits; one of which seeming to be the Transporter room of the Shogun.

The trio discovered an unlikely inhabitant: A voice, who revealed himself in the appearance of a human male in a Starfleet Captain's Uniform circa the late 2370s. After some 'stagemanship' by the new individual, he revealed himself as 'Drago', an imprisoned member of the Q Continuum. He also went by the name Fenris after visiting Earth after the fall of the Roman Empire, and is known by the "Void Callers" as the Void Dragon. It seems, this Q is responsible for thier abilities, and is revered to be a god. It seems that the Void Callers are aware of their God's current predicament, and have found a way to 'feed' him the life energy of sentient beings - by setting traps.

The fact that a Q feeds in this manner itself is alarming: it seems he is the Q equivalent of a weapons scientist, and had made a doomsday weapon, destroying thirty star systems during the course of the Q Civil War, drastically altering him.

It seems it was his intention to feed on the life energies of those crewmembers trapped with him, were it not for the intervention of an unseen member of the Continuum, managing to hold him down, and free the away team from their captivity, allowing them to make the dash to the portal leading to the USS Shogun.

Upon arrival, the ship itself was placed under quarantine under direct authority of Commodore Kermie Mistwallow as a threat to the safety of others, and, under the recommendation of Commander Mac Gaelyth, the ship would be towed home to be studied directly by Starfleet Sciences.
