Vice Chief Medical Officer

Description

The Vice Chief Medical Officer is responsible for working with the Chief Medical Officer in overseeing the physical well being of the crew. In the event the CMO is unable to perform his duties, the VCMO will assume those duties until a replacement is named.

Tasks

  • Respond to monthly roll call
  • Record logs on forum
  • Attend branch and post meetings
  • Motivates staff
  • Provides accurate reporting to post Command and CMO.
  • Coordinates medical activities with CMO and Medical Officers.
  • Conducts meetings as needed
  • Attend Medical Conferences (Branch Meetings) in person or by subspace communication.
  • Maintain sickbay in ready state
  • Perform crew physicals
  • Delegate medical assignments to medical crew
  • Monitor crew morale.
