History

The 69th Marine Detachment was formed aboard the USS Cochrane, NCC 59318-A, and called the ship home until Stardate 121230 when the vessel was destroyed. The 69th was then subsequently transferred to the USS Hyperion along with a bulk of the previous Cochrane Crew. After the Hyperion was dry docked the majority of the 69th moved on to other areas before the detachment was reactivated aboard the USS Erebus. With the USS Erebus being dry docked the detachment was put on inactive status for a short period of time then reactivated aboard USS Nightstalker until the ship was drydocked and soon after the detachment was recalled to marine HQ and all marines reassigned elsewhere.
