Stardate: 120923

Current Location: Sector 010M

Commanding Officer's Log, Stardate 121007,

On our way to Sector 011M, our warp engines failed and we dropped out in the sector 010M, just in front of a binary star system composed of a Neutron Star and a White Dwarf. Gravity pull was taking the ship apart and in the center of the system, between the two stars. The ship could not support much more damage and I had to give the order of abandoning the ship, we launched a probe containing a pre-recorded message explaining the situation. We were answered by the USS Wayne. We boarded the shuttles and escape pods, headed to the wayne which was waiting outside the system. Thankfully, only light injuries occurred.
