Current Location:Barrett System, SS Helmut Kohl

Commanding Officer's Log, Stardate 120729.23

The ship has arrived at SS Helmut Kohl after 4 days of warp. We had detected a small EDC ship also heading for the station, our fears were confirmed as when we arrived, the ship did about 20 minutes after us... We turned the ship arround in order to drawn it away from the station. Our armament system being seriously inoperative, we had only few shots if we needed to disable it. We managed to launch 2 photon torpedoes, disabling the EDC ship an initiating a warp core breach.. We had no armement and our ship took several hits during the battle. We managed to beam aboard the remaining EDC crew, only 2 survived on the 5 we beamed. They were wearing UFS Uniforms.. Apparently they were attempting to access the station and post as spies. They were sedated and put under close guard. We then returned to SS Helmut Kohl where the ship will go under repairs and preparations for a week.
