The Historian of the United Federation Starfleet Marine Corps is tasked with the responsibility of maintaining a accurate and secure line of historical knowledge within the Federation LCARS system.
The Historian may hold any rank within the Marine Corps, though preferably above the rank of Lance Corporal within enlisted ranks or 2nd Lieutenant within Officer ranks.
