The Tactical Uniform Series is the Standard Uniform for Marines that are involved in or preparing for combat actions. The Tactical uniforms are made from layers of Phaser Resistant fabric and have a personal shield grid built into the Jacket and Trousers.

Composition

The Marine Officer Tactical Uniform is comprised of the Tactical Jacket and Undershirt, the Tactical Trousers, and accessories as authorized below.

Jacket, Duty

The jacket is the standard Odyssey Excursion Starfleet issue top. It is Medium Grey with Black shoulders. The departmental color stripe running across the chest and upper arms is Dark Green. The trim on the Jacket is Metallic Black for all Officers from Second Lieutenant to General. The jacket is worn tucked into the waistband. The upper arms have pockets for quick access to small accessories.

Undershirt, Duty

Under the jacket is worn a Black Undershirt with a high collar.

Trousers, Duty

Duty Trousers are Medium Grey in color, low waist, straight legged. Large cargo pockets are on the upper thighs of the trousers. The trousers are worn bloused and tucked into the top of the boots.

Headgear

There is no headgear authorized for wear with the Duty Uniform.

Footwear

Heavy Boots are to be worn with the Officer Tactical Uniform.

Insignia & accouterments

Only the following items are authorized for wear with the Duty Uniform.

  • Insignia of grade - Worn on the right collar of the Duty Jacket.
  • Combadge - Worn in the usual place on the left chest.
