Biography
|
My parents were historian buffs, children of the Fifth House related to the esteemed Lwaxanna Troi, they named me after the ancient name of Betazed. I grew up in a scholarly and scientific household, surrounded by books, ideas, theories and accomplishments of two renown scientists. As far back as I could recall, I did not have a toy, a game or pet, it was either an invention of my parents, a book, or something else of learning value. My parents often traveled a lot, leaving me in the care of a Vulcan family, who taught me much about their philosophy, control of my racial abilities, meditation, music, art, science that my parents could not. I desired to see what was outside of my home, my city, my world, learning has no boundaries except to what we place on ourselves in surrender is what my father said. One of my family members, not immediate per say, was a distinguished and highly decorated officer of the Federation, CMDR Deanna Troi, was an inspiration to many children like myself in joining Starfleet to see the galaxy and its wonders. It was around my final year in schooling, I met a cadet of Starfleet who became friends and hoped we would serve on the same vessel one day.
