All Starfleet Ships,stations,Facilities and bases are equiped with extremely advanced computer systems that can storemassive amounts of information and perform many tasks. Access to these computers and to the data they contain is strictly regulated so that only authorized personnel can perform certain tasks or can access certain data files

UFS Security Classifications outline levels of Security Access for all UFS members. These are not to be confused with Starfleet Security Codes

Security Access Codes

Access to all Starfleet Computer Systems is highly regulated. A standard set of authorization codes has been programmed into the computer cores of all ships, stations,facilities and bases to stop undesired access to the systems and data.

• Omega-1a: Unlimited access to all Starfleet records, systems,commands and computers
• Omega-1b: Unlimited access to all Starfleet records, systems and computers.
• Omega-2a: Limited access to starfleet records, systems and computers.
• Omega-2b: Limited access to all starfleet records, systems, commands and computers. Access Limited to duty related functions
• Omega-3: Access Limited to duty related functions

• Alpha-1: Unlimited Access to all ship, station or facility records, systems,commands and computers
• Alpha-2: Unlimited Access to all ship, station or facility records, systems and computers.No Access to localized command functions
• Alpha-3: Access limited to job related functions.
• Alpha-4: Access limited to job related functions.

• Beta-1: Unlimited Access to all ship, station or facility, systems and computers. Limited Access to command functions (except if stated otherwise by Commanding Officer).
• Beta-2: Unlimited Access to all ship, station or facility records, and computers. Limited access to command functions (except if stated otherwise by Commanding Officer). Access to ship systems is limited to duty related functions

• Delta-1: Limited Access to all ship, station or facility records, systems, commands and computers. Access Limited to duty related functions
• Delta-2: Limited Access to all ship, station or facility records, and computers. Access limited to job related functions.

Position Access Levels

• Omega-1a: Commander-in-Chief
• Omega-1B: Joint Chiefs of Staff
• Omega-2a: UFS Senior Staff(Branch Commanders) and Sector Commanders
• Omega-2B: UFS Division Heads, Sector Chiefs and Fleet Commanders
• Omega-3: UFS Department Heads

• Alpha-1: Starship CO's, Starbase CO's and Facility CO's
• Alpha-2: Executive Officers
• Alpha-3: Assistant Officers and Chief Medical Officer
• Alpha-4: Chief Intelligence,Chief Security

• Beta-1: Chief Engineer, Chief Science,
• Beta-2: Tactical Officer, Flight Control Officer

• Delta-1: Mission Operations Officer, duty staff (Non Chief roles)
• Delta-2: Civilian Contractors

UF Starfleet Access Levels

• Level 6: Unlimited access to all classified, secret, top-secret, ultra-secret Starfleet or Federation documents and records.
• Level 5: Unlimited access to all classified, secret, top-secret or Federation documents and records.
• Level 4: Limited access to all classified, secret or Federation documents and records. Access is limited on a 'need to know' basis.
• Level 3: Limited access to all classified and secret Starfleet or Federation documents and records. Access is limited on a 'need to know' basis.
• Level 2: Limited access to all Starfleet or Federation documents and records. Access is limited on a 'need to know' basis.
• Level 1: Limited access to Starfleet or Federation documents and records. Access is limited to job related elements.
