History

The USS Thunderbird, NCC- 97255, named for the legendary creature in Native American history and culture. It was considered a supernatural bird of power and strength. The creature's name comes from the common belief that the beating of it's enormous wings caused thunder and stirred the wind.

The Akira Class ship entered service in 2364. It is a smaller ship, believed to be faster and more maneuverable to better serve the needs of the Federation.

The USS Thunderbird was activated in 2414, officially launching on 151018 under the command of Commander Azdra Portland-Nikolaidis and Lt Commander Suzie Setsuko.

Captain Suzie Setsuko make her way to other endeavors, leaving things a bit fearful.

On 170721, Lieutenant Commander Archi Merlin, Vice Chief Medical Officer, took over the position of Executive Officer and head Cabbit Wrangler.

On Stardate 190815 the USS Thunderbird was drydocked by UF Starfleet Command
