| Zed was born on a pre-warp world called Sosaria in the far reaches of the Beta Quadrant. Never knowing his family, he was a member, and eventually became leader of a group of scholars called the Council of the Nine.
Zed spent much of his life in study and academic pursuit. He studied for many years among the elves of Eldamar where he met a Space Elf named Aleena. Aleena eventually told Zed of warp technology and along with Ssaspriina Sismondi they left Sosaria to pursue careers in Starfleet. | |||||
