Commanding Officer Poison Toocool - Log, Stardate 120427: All told, it took 127 hours for us to complete the repairs of the USS Mak'ala and get back into space. Our Doctor Markus, clearly under the influence of the Alien Entity, sabatoged the ship and hindered our escape from the Class L planetoid we'd chosen to land on. She is in sick bay under 24 hour watch... I expect a report from medical and science soon, there must be some way to reverse the effects of her 'conditioning' and get her back to normal. We have exited the planet's atmosphere and plan to retrace our steps to the point where we entered this system, in hopes of figuring out a way home. An Alien Vessel lurks at the very edge of sensor range, approximately 10 light years from our position. We do not know if it is friend or foe... but I fear it may be the vessel that attacked us before we entered the vortex that brought us here.

Reporting: Commanding Officer USS Mak'ala (Cptn Poison Toocool):

On course to intercept the coordinates where we appeared in this system, long range sensors showed an alien vessel 10 light years away. They suddenly appeared 5 light years closer. We found the wormhole that had brought us here, but it did not appear to be large enough for a return trip. As we attempted to enlarge it using energy from various systems, scans showed the alien vessel reappearing 2 light years away, moving in the opposite direction. All at once, they were in front of us. We hailed them but then there was no reply except an odd echo of our own signal. We observed them launch a shuttle and it was then we realized we were seeing our own ship, retracing the 127 hours we had just lived through. We know the ship is badly damaged and, without sensors, communications - or weapons - they are effectively blind and in danger.

I am worried about the consequences to time if we try to assist them. If we help, we may change their future, and our own. I know, in 2387, there has already been talk of a Temporal Prime Directive.

It seems any move I make will have consequences that could affect us all.
