Captain's Log

  • computer begins recording

Captain's log, stardate 101025.1220. As a result of a bizzare accident involving Lt. Cmdr. Meredith and Dr. Thiemen-Jayarma, I will be departing the Talisman for an indefinate period with the doctor to rendezvous with the medical ship Cadusius. There, I hope that a treatment can be found for the condition that has taken a change on my wife. Even though it is a simple matter of her having sprouted a set of wings from her posterior side, it is still a condition I would like researched and looked into. Further investigations on how this happend have been unrevealing.

In the mean time, the Talisman will be continuing along to the Corwin system. Several Class M planets have been spotted on the sensor readings. Hopefully they will find something of interest on one of those planets. A foothold for the Federation in this part of the quadrant could be detrimental in the long run. Perhaps one of these planets would suffice for that.

Event's Summary

The USS Talisman entered the Corwin system of the Tokari sector on stardate 101026 to continue its exploration of the sector. The system contained three M-Class planets which seemed fairly normal in makeup and composure. Lieutenant Commander Lans Starsider and Lieutenant Akara Dover began their analysis of the three planets and what the crew may find on them. Lt. Cmdr. Jackson T. Jayaram and his wife, C.M.O. Doctor Genna Thiemen-Jayaram had departed the Talisman to rendezvous with the Medical cruiser Cadusius for treatment of Dr. Thiemen-Jayaram due to a bizzare incident that occured just several days before. The ship was left in the command of Lieutenant Commander Brandi Meredith, First Officer of the USS Talisman. It was unknown at this time to anyone but Lt. Cmdr. Meredith and now Lt. Cmdr. Shaun Dixon that there was something big coming over the horizon. For several days both officers had been acting somewhat different, but no formal complaints were filed. None the less, the Talisman continued exploring the system, unknown that it was heading right into a trap.
