The USS Neil Amstrong left orbit of the Class L ice planet and headed out of the Cryrairon system. However when warp drive was engaged, the ship lost power and navigation. The metallic Head marker, that had been taken from the frozen lake and beamed aboard the ship, proved to be the cause of all the problems. It was discovered that the object was in fact an alien sentient life form that wanted to be returned to the lake. Once the alien had allowed power and navigation had been restored, the 'Armstrong reversed course and headed back to the Ice planet

The alien life form has been beamed back down to the surface of the Ice planet and onto the frozen lake. Cmdr Markus has reconvened the meeting of senior officers at which Science will to present reports about the Star Chart and the hieroglyphs discovered on the Ice planet. In the meantime, the USS Neil Armstrong is once again leaving orbit of the Class L ice planet and heading out of the Cryrairon system.

Log Entry: Commander Genny7 Markus, 140316:

At a briefing of senior officers Cmdr Bravin told us that the hieroglyphs were now deciphered, but gave no information on the Iconian Gateways. However the Star Chart had proven to be of great use to us and we now understood where we were in relation to the map. Cmdr Bravin then told us that another star system had been identified with a planet, near to the system we were in at that time. I made the decision to travel to that system to investigate.

I decided to take the Helm station myself and took us out of the system at impulse and then having put the coordinates for the next star system into the helm, I took us from warp 1 to warp 6 to cover the small amount of space between the two systems.

Once we arrived at the star system we identified a Class M planet. We were able to scan the area and found that there were signs of advanced technology and also warp capability, so I formed an away team and we transported down - leaving the ship to go into a much higher orbit to avoid the large rocks that circled the planet.

It was night time when we arrived but there were lamps on so we could see some of the buildings and garden areas. I thought it best for us all to stay together, so we headed for a building which was guarded by what looked like a very large plant going around the area. Inside the building we found a picture on the wall of alien musicians - could they be the local inhabitants? On our way from that building to what we thought of as a ruined castle, we came across another metal head, this time mounted on a metal body, which also seemed to be patrolling - could this be something that the Iconians had left on each of the planets they had visited? We walked on to the castle, found rooms with seats in them but no one about.

I then decided that it would be best for us to return to the ship and come back in the morning, when hopefully the people of this planet would be here to greet us.
