The USS Neil Armstrong left the planet Centuria and headed towards the 13 planet binary star system, identified by Astrometrics. The crew of the 'Armstrong discovered that they were being pursued by another ship, the Captain of which invited them to join the "Alliance" to stand up against the "Empire" who were placing restrictions in the sector. Putting the invitation on hold, the 'Armstrong continued its journey and arrived at the 13 planet binary star system. Scans of the planets revealed that only the innermost planet was Class M - Terrestrial. For some unknown reason it was not possible to get a stable lock for the transporters; so an Away Team boarded the USS Matterhorn ready to make their way to the surface of the innermost planet. Science has now suggested that the planet may be affected by a time dilation, similar to that found on "Centuria". As such the 'Matterhorn and the individual members of the Away Team have been shielded against the effects of such a time dilation and are currently on their way to the surface of the planet, where they hope to find Cmdr Markus and LT Gaelyth.

Log Entry: Commander David7 Bravin, 140518:
We continued our journey to the innermost planet aboard the runabout USS Matterhorn. As we neared the surface of the planet, I asked Dr Lane to scan for life signs - particularly in respect of Human/Vulcan/Klingon. He reported that he was unable to detect any such life signs. I tried scanning the planet's surface, but found that my scans were being deflected; however I had managed to detect a slight blip. I decided that we should therefore land at that spot, since we had nothing else to go on.
We disembarked once we had landed and found ourselves inside a kind of energy field. Once we stepped outside we discovered that our tricorders and other instruments were not working. As such I told everyone to stay together while we explored our immediate surroundings. The buildings we saw seemed strangely familiar to us. We looked inside several of them but found no one.
In order to save time, I said that we should split up so that we could cover as much ground as possible and that if anyone finds anything that they should shout out. We then all went off in different directions. Luck was on my side, as I soon came across Cmdr Markus and LT Gaelyth, who were standing together - perfectly still. I shouted to the rest of the Away Team to come to my location. We concluded that Cmdr Markus and LT Gaelyth were being affected by a time dilation, similar that we had seen on the planet Centuria, where the robots also seemed motionless.
Our preference was to teleport Cmdr Markus and LT Gaelyth up to the 'Armstrong, but because of the planet's apparent damping field, we were of course unable to do so. Our only option was to take them back with us to the runabout and then travel back to the Armstrong - which we duly did.
Once aboard the 'Armstrong, Cmdr Markus and LT Gaelyth were taken straight to Sick Bay, followed closely by the Away Team who were given a check-over. Dr Lane reported that Cmdr Markus should be "awake" in few hours, once the effects of the time dilation had worn off. However, LT Gaelyth's condition was more serious, as she been away for a much longer period. He therefore arranged for LT Gaelyth to be placed in a stasis pod for the journey back to Astraios.
Cmdr Markus was finally able to tell us what had transpired, once her head had cleared. She recalled feeling the presence of friendly non-corporeal beings in her mind telling her that she was in an energy bubble, which they had made for LT Gaelyth - as they had sensed that the lieutenant needed help to survive when she first arrived. Cmdr Markus was surprised to learn that she had been gone for so long, as she thought that only a few minutes had passed. One other thing that Cmdr Marks told us, was that she had left the Iconian artifact on the planet in the safe keeping of the non-corporeal beings.
On medical advice Cmdr Markus remained in Sick Bay, while I went to the Bridge to start our long journey back home to Astraios. Having found eventually LT Gaelyth (whilst along the way having lost then found Cmdr Markus) I felt a sense of relief in being able to say "Mission Accomplished".
