The crew of the Sheppard must face their fears while investigating a dramatically changed part of the ship.

Captain's log, Stardate 101030.

It seems our luck just doesn't want to hold out. The Sheppard has hit some sort of anomaly that has secured the sheppard in position. It seems to have attached itself to deck 13; so far we have lost all contact with that deck and are getting some very erratic readings. No one who was on duty there has reported in. Attempts to move the Sheppard have failed, which leaves us and the Denmark sitting ducks until we can work out what's happened.

There have also been reports from the surrounding decks of strange sounds emanating from Deck 13, which is already making an already stressed crew, well, jumpy.

After evacuating most of the Sheppard's personnel to the Denmark, Captain Dwi divided the bridge crew into two teams, one under her command and the other under Lt. Jess Hamelin's, to go down and investigate Deck 13. What the crew found was a strangely altered deck: moss-covered stone walls, corkscrew staircases, a graveyard as well as darkened hallways with eerie white figures floating past. A pool of blood was identified as the remains from Ensign Cross from engineering.

Things got dire when the crew came under attack from hostile tentacled beings and flying headcrabs, to a point where some crew, including the Captain herself, were wounded. Managing to retreat while occasionally having to fight off pockets of hostile aliens, the crew came upon a cargo bay - an unlikely find on Deck 13 - and a control room containing an unknown power source which, according to Ensign Teresa Firelight, could have opened a rift to another dimension which was bleeding into our own.

Working together, Lieutenant Kaelin Odriscoll, Lieutenant Voludo Porthos and Lieutenant j.g. April Coswell managed to find a way to shut down the power source by adjusting its timekeeping mechanism to Stardate 101031.2350 - making it believe it had 10 minutes left until it had to go into diagnostic mode. It was long enough for the two teams to fight their way off Deck 13 and back to the bridge. At 101101.0000, the rift closed itself and the Sheppard was once again able to move.
